Smartphone app that detects lies



A scientist at University of Copenhagen has revealed in a research that with the help of a phone one can find out of the user is lying or not.

This scientist has developed a machine learning algorithm which will help identify if a person telling a lie or not by studying the swipe and tap gestures on a smartphone.

The research adds that the dishonest interactions often require more hand movements as compared to the honest ones.

The algorithm developed is called Veritaps which flashed a green check mark when the statement is true. On the other hand, any false or doubtful statement is reported with a red question mark.

Presently, the app is in experimental stage and is only designed for Android smartphones.
