Reasons you shouldn’t allow browsers store or remember your password

Why You shouldn’t Let Browsers Remember Or Store Your Passwords( Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Gmail…etc)
.
Do you let your browser remember your passwords and automatically fill them in for you every time you sign into an online account? Or you are one novice dude who just accidentally clicks on a yes when the “Do you want the browser
to remember your password’ message pops up. Oops If so, you could be headed for trouble.
.
You hear people complaining “my account was hacked” no please you only left your password saved in browser for anyone to login in without typing the password again.
.
Then there are these geeks who intentionally command browsers to save their account passwords! Yes I know how convenient it is to have your browser store your passwords, but there are so many ways that it can come back to bite you that I strongly recommend against it. Here are just a few of them:
.
1 – If your computer or mobile device is ever lost or stolen, whoever ends up with possession of it will have immediate and complete access to any online accounts that you have allowed your browser to store the passwords for.
.
2 – If a hacker ever takes control of your computer remotely over the Internet, he/she will have immediate and complete access to your online accounts if their passwords have been stored. And trust me, this happens all the time.
.
3 – MAN! Storing your passwords will make your accounts vulnerable to other users who come after you. This is common in internet cafes, school computer labs or even on public office computers.
.
As you can see, allowing your browser to store your passwords isn’t the greatest idea anywhere in the world. Here at #TrendsAndChoice we strongly recommend against it.
You are on Facebook, Twitter, Gmail or anywhere else and a pop message came ” Do you want google chrome or firefox to save your password for this site” This is common! Simply Click #NO and you will complain no more.
